Night Traveling

Salem looked down, feeling a little ashamed. He wasn't used to bossing people around. It made him uncomfortable. "I'm only a little sick... It'll pass," he said. The guards came back into the room. One with a bottled water and some pain meds and anti-nausea pills. The other carried a medical kit. Salem thanked the guards and took the pills as the other guard began to patch him up.

Kado holstered his Luger and looked at the stranger "You're getting too far into that pile of shit you're in.." He whistled and about twelve guards ran into the room and circled the stranger. The shutters closed all over the building and the doors locked enclosing them in the bottom floor of the building. "Who the hell are you?"

Darkwolf says to Kado, "I'm just a traveler looking to make it into the next city." He closes his eyes as he slouches more against the wall dropping his guard completely as if he was in no danger at all. "If I was to tell you who I am, I'd have to kill you. For the simple fact of your death not being able to profit me.. I don't wanna have to do that." He then opens his eyes looking at the men surrounding him. Smirking a bit, he takes his sword as it is still sheathed from behind his back. Sliding to the ground against the wall, he then puts his sword on the ground and props it up against his shoulder. With the sword now sitting infront of him, He takes some cloth from his travel pouch and begins to clean the sheath.

Salem scrambled to get behind the counter when he heard Kado whistle. He peeked over the top with a stern look on his face, not knowing what to expect.

When Darkwolf acted so casual Salem raised his eyebrows. "Eh..?" He looked at Kado, expecting his face to be completely red with anger.

Kado looks closely at the sword "..That sword.." he then snaps back into what he was doing and pulls his scorpions aiming them at the traveler "Drop your weapons and do not move, my men are going to subdue you and you will be held until you answer all of my questions" He whistled again and two of the guards lowered their weapons and started towards the traveler. "You won't win this fight if you start it, so I suggest you don't."

Darkwolf smiles a bit. "Fine you can have it your way, but on my terms." He stood up as he began to take off his traveler pouch and starts to empty his pockets. The two guards starting towards him had stopped and raised their weapons. After a minute or two every concealed lethal weapon Darkwolf had was emptied into a pile in front of Kado. "I don't need to be subdued. I will fully cooperate. But I am not going to lose sight of this sword." He said as he hooked the Einlanzer to his back across the holster. "So where will we be doing this Interrogation of yours?" From his composed response all the guards started to lower their weapons.

Salem exhaled a relieved sigh. There would be no fighting. Good. He stood up and started walking towards Kado, but almost fainted, stumbling. He held his head. Even though he took painkillers he was having a horrible migraine.

Kado lowers his weapons but still holds them "You will be blindfolded, for my safety and yours, and escorted to a secure location and me and you will sit down and talk. My limping partner will probably join us as well." Kado notices his men lowering their guard and whistles once more, they start aiming once more and the two who were approaching him back up and get back in formation.

Darkwolf agree's to the blindfold because he can smell his way around the building and be able to know where he is going. "Don't try anything smart involving my sword while I'm blindfolded, And I will not where handcuffs. You can simply have two guards hold my shoulders and guide me." A guard then hands him a blindfold to put on which he does. He gets escorted to an elevator and began to descend into the lower levels of the observatory.

Salem followed the guards as everyone jammed into the elevator. He stood in the corner and pressed the button to head to the lower levels. When the elevator stopped he walked into the interrogation room and sat down. The guards led the traveler into the room.

Once inside the interrogation room he was ordered to take off his blindfold. After doing so he looked around but couldn't see anything through the mirrored window's glass. "I see.. Very interesting," he said as he looked around. He then sat down on a chair and leaned back propping his feet up onto the table in front of him. "Can I get some whiskey or.. Vodka? Anything with alcohol will do, Until then I won't answer any questions even if you try to torture me." He then smiles at the guards, scientist, and the guy who seemed to be the boss.

Kado say down in the chair across from the traveler. "You're gonna have to deal with burbon." He said removing his sunglasses and setting them on the table infront of him. He snapped his fingers and the guard opened a the door, went out and a few minutes later he came bak with a glass, with ice and a bottle of burbon. He sat the glass down and poured the drink, sliding it to the man.

Salem was sitting behind the one way mirror, monitoring and recording the conversation.

(y'all go ahead without me for a bit; my character can't really advance the story right now I don't think...)

Darkwolf sat up and looked at the glass of ice and bourbon. As he picked up the glass he noticed the ice reacting strangely to the alcohol and decided to smell it before taking a sip. Knowing there was some kind of drug frozen into the ice he sat the glass down and grabbed the bottle. "I think this will do," he said as he took a gulp straight from the bottle. "Well boss, this is the last condition I have. In order for me to completely cooperate with your interrogation it has to be honest. For every answer I give I get to ask you a question. If you lie to me I'll know it, I'm an expert in deception and I can read a lie off the best of the best liar's face. If you don't believe my answers to be truthful, You can hook me up to machines and monitor anything and everything you want. Do you agree to my terms or am I going to have to just sit here and have my time, aswell as yours wasted?" He takes another gulp of the bourbon as he casually waited for a reply from the man.

Kado thought for a moment, the man had already known more than anyone and was still alive, being honest now probably wouldn't hurt. He wasn't threatening his company any and seemed to only want to know more. "Deal." He looked at the traveler "So. What's your name?"

He grinned before replying. "My only known alias is Darkwolf."
He thought a little bit before asking his question. He wanted to make the most of his answer's.
"What is sStat Corp's immediate goals in the future or near future?"

He thought for a moment, tell the truth and let him know the real plans, or lie and risk losing vauluable information. "..To make bio-weapons for the US until the deal is no longer needed. Then either go back to a normal company, or use my money, power, reputation, and greed to rule. But, this isn't a movie so I doubt that option will happen." He smiled "That sword.. What's the name of it

He was a bit disappointed in the answer he received from the man as he already knew that much...
He looked at his sword and then back at the man.

"It's called the Einlanzer. It is a holy sword of the Grave bloodline. If you don't meet the requirements to wield it, It could kill you."

He looked back at his sword as he thought about a good way to word his next question.

"I have came across some information in my field of work so I hope you don't waste my time or try to lie to me. What kind of ability's do you have. What have you gained from self experimentation?"

The man took another sip of bourbon as he awaited the answer.

Kado smiled, "So you learned more than I had expected." He took off his sunglasses as his eyes shined but, it seemed his right eye shined more. He then looked at his right arm, he had cut the sleeve off of his coat a long time ago to make this process easier. He took his left hand and placed it near the top of his shoulder and slowly started to remove the skin, it was slowly being pulled an ripped off exposing a fully metal cybernetic arm. He then looked back at the man "Same for the left leg. My right eye has been replaced with an engineered robotic eye, allowing me to be able to see in the dark, calculate someone's next move, zoom. Shit, I can even take pictures with the damn thing. The arm, it increases my strength, I can lift almost 100 times my body weight, like an ant. And the leg, it increases my speed, to almost superhuman speed. To own a company like this, you have to have tricks up your sleeve, no pun intended." He looked at the man "How could you tell there was something wrong with the ice? No normal person could do that. And what is your line of work exactly?"

He nodded as Kado had answered his questions truthfully.

"That was two questions... I'll answer them both though for two of my own.. first. It smelled bad. I noticed it reacting strangely with the alcohol and decided to smell it. Like I told you earlier... I am an expert in deception. Which actually happen's to tie in with your other question. I'm a master in deception because my line of work involves taking jobs the general public wouldn't take part in. I'm an executioner of sorts."

He smirked as he had gotten off with an easy answer. Now he wondered what else he needed to know about the place he was currently in.

"This "observatory" as you call it.. How many floors are there in total including side rooms that could be compared to a different section, And what floor are we currently on."
